Yesterday, the Minneapolis Star Tribune offered two stories about cities that are in the process of implementing Common Operating Picture approaches for maintaining operational awareness in their jurisdictions. First comes an update on a topic previously reported on this site - New York City's Domain Awareness effort. Second is a story about an upgraded and tailored version IBM's Intelligent Operations Platform (see also: A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words: Rio's New City Operations Center) that will soon be employed by Minneapolis.
