Free GITA Sponsored Training: Hazardous Material Plume Pre-plan Maps


For the past year, the Geospatial Information and Technology Association (GITA) has been offering a series of free webinars on topics of interest to the infrastructure community. As part of those efforts, in the coming weeks GITA will be hosting an event that should be of interest to readers of this blog. On October 8th, two experienced and well-placed members of Ohio's response community, GISPs Dick Kotapish and David Phares, will share basics, techniques and tips for effectively using Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) plume modeling software combo CAMEO (Computer-Aided Management of Emergency Operations) and ALOHA (Areal Locations of Hazardous Atmosphere).
